The customer service from Twisted Iron is out of this world. I received a call from Scott who was reaching out to me, to let me know that the Pack Rat XL was going to be shipped a little later than planned. We talked for several minutes and talked about what platform I was running. Scott recommended I try the original size because he said that one would work just fine. I’m an airline pilot and I was on day two of a four day trip and as soon as I hung up with Scott, five minutes later I received an email that my Pack Rat was on its way and received two days later. Pack Rat DLX/BB ProX2 System in BOTTOMLAND The pack rat with the BB pro is an amazing product. I just ordered the pack rat XL and can’t wait to use it with my mission platform.
So far is seams very well made and set up well. The true test will be out in the field how it lasts and holds up but the initial thought is I'm very happy with this.
I’ve spent hundreds on back packs to saddle hunt with. Everyone has its pros and cons. But the pack rat… no cons. I have room to keep all I need even for an all day sit. Greta product great company. And the owner, is amazing! Life time customer here!

First things first, my order was on back order and was taking longer than expected to deliver my order. The owner of Twisted Iron Hunting contacted me and made it right. That kind of service will get me to purchase more from Twisted Iron (I have arrows that have been pushed two times from another company and all I get from them is “wait, they will be in when they are in”.)
When it did arrive I rigged it on my tree preparing for the hunting season…I can’t seem to find anything bad to say! I’m the guy that takes a ton of gear with him and the Tree Hugger has storage for all of it. The Tree Hugger also replaces my gear strap, I can put my bow hanger and gear hangers on the built in tree mounting straps. I can’t wait to use it this white tail season!!

I have been contemplating how I was going to carry my saddle platform and sticks on each of my backpacks for months. Well these commercials kept showing up on YouTube for a company called Twisted Iron Hunting. I ordered the full send system and it is exactly what I needed. It carries my XOP Edge and my Ullhunt platforms easily. My XOP X2 sticks fit perfectly. More than impressed with this system and company. I can't wait to put it to work this season in Florida.
